Here the ongoing costs are significant, which arise with the use of a building or a piece of land and for which you make an advance payment, together with the monthly rent. According to the operational costs ordinance and the provisions in your rental contract, these costs are split between the tenants.

In addition to the "warm" costs (heating costs), the ancillary costs also include the flood protection contribution, garden maintenance charges, property taxes, home insurance or maintenance cleaning costs.

What costs do you face as tenants and how these are settled is documented in your annual operating and heating costs account statement.
