In the largest industrial area of Bremerhaven in the midst of the fresh fish trade, a cluster of fish and food industry awaits you, which covers the entire value chain of the sector: medium-sized and large companies, packaging and warehouse operations as well as forwarding companies specialised in refrigerated transport, and huge cold storage capacities.

The fishing industry offers a workplace to over 4000 employees at the fishery harbour. But not only the large brands - Frozen Fish International (Käpt'n Iglo), FRoSTA AG (frozen food), Deutsche See (Fish manufacture) and the NORDSEE (food chain) - numerous processing companies also rely on the experience of our well-trained professionals.

The maritime industry is represented in the fishery harbour of Bremerhaven by a modern and efficient infrastructure in the field of ship repairs. New impulses are given by the offshore wind energy to the companies on site: Renowned producers, suppliers, service providers and renowned research institutes such as the Fraunhofer Institute for Wind Energy and Energy System Technology (IWES) are based at the fishery harbour.
